Fuquay-Varina - Robert Paul Schwarze (Bob), passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018. He was born in Irvington, New Jersey February 20, 1929. A memorial service will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1005 Wilbon Rd Fuquay-Varina, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
He was the third son of the late Marie A (Sattely) Schwarze and John Albert Schwarze Sr. He was married to his late wife, Johanna Libertell Schwarze for 50 years prior to her passing in 2016.
Bob was enlisted in the Navy during the Korean war and was discharged in 1954. He earned his bachelor’s degree from William Patterson College in Wayne New Jersey with a degree in Criminal Justice while serving as a full-time police officer in Nutley, NJ. He served on the Nutley Police Department for 27 years before retiring in 1987. During his tenure as a police officer, he was honored several times for his acts of bravery and kindness.
Bob Schwarze is survived by his only daughter, Roberta S. Longworth and husband Paul of Holly Springs, NC, and granddaughters Ashley And Alyson; brother William Schwarze and wife Nancy of Cape Canaveral, FL and preceded by his wife Johanna and brother John Schwarze Jr. and wife Dolores Schwarze of Reading, PA.

I am very sorry for your loss . Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience . Please be comforted by the promises in the Bible . Jesus tells us at John 5 : 28 , 29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out . What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones live again one day .
