Frances Ann Earl Caldwell




Fuquay-Varina - On July 6th 2018 Frances Caldwell passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 93. Frances was born in North Fairfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late, Wayne and Glenna Earl. She was a graduate of North Fairfield High School and attended Bowling Green State University where she met her husband of 74 years, Theodore (Ned) Caldwell.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, John (Linda) of Holly Springs, NC, Ann Fegley of Minneapolis, MN and James (Alexandra) of North Brookfield, MA; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Frances served as Deputy Clerk of the Bowling Green Municipal Court until retiring with her husband in 1978 and relocating to Charleston, South Carolina where she enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting porcelain dolls, traveling and boating. She was a member of the Charleston chapter of Pilot Club International and St Mathews Lutheran church.

After 25 years in Charleston, Frances and Ned relocated to their present home in Fuquay-Varina NC where they have spent the last fourteen years.
