Bradley Stephen Hanson

Fort Myers, FL - It is with heavy hearts and unbearable sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley Stephen Hanson, who left us far too soon. He will be remembered by everyone with whom he interacted for his smile, wit, and sweet soul. It’s hard to say goodbye to someone so young, but Brad can rest easy knowing he left us better off for having known him. There was nothing Brad liked better than traveling, OU football, or giving his sister a hard time. You could always find Brad laughing with friends, dining out- especially at Bella, or going to a Dave Matthews concert.

He was born in South Bend, Indiana on May 20, 1982 to his beloved parents Lloyd and Kay Hanson. He grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma where he attended Edmond North High School and will always be remembered for his “talk of the town,” black Firebird. Bradley went on to complete an undergraduate Disney Internship while attending Oklahoma University. He graduated with a Human Relations degree in 2005. He then relocated to Orlando, FL in 2005 after accepting a position with the Walt Disney Company that would eventually span over a decade.

Brad will be lovingly and forever remembered by his parents, Lloyd and Kay Hanson of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Courtney Spare and brother-in-law William of Raleigh; aunt, Jane Woodruff of Avon, IN, and aunt, Judy (Paul) Exl of Green Bay, WI.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 between 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North Ennis Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1621 Broad Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Bradley was like the Florida sun, always bright and warm.
