A memorial service will be held for Wanda on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at 7pm at Thomas Funeral Home in Fuquay-Varina. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jimmy Boyd with visitation to follow. A second service will be April 14th, 2018 from 2-4 pm at First Baptist Church of Ellwood City located in Ellwood City, PA. A celebration of her amazing life will be held immediately after in the fellowship hall of the church.
She fought so hard these last few months but God was ready to have this sweet angel home! It is never easy to watch the ones you love suffer, but we are grateful for the time we all had to say our goodbyes and reflect on all of the positive memories. Her small acts of kindness went such a long way and will stay in the hearts of others forever. We can only imagine the conversations that you and Grandma Bubba had together as you spent your first night in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Transitions Lifecare (250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607).

Wanda, you are one rare and beautiful jewel in Jesus' crown. I know you went through hell here in pain and suffering, but you so rarely showed it and always tried to make others smile. May you dance unhindered now with your Lord! You have been such a blessing to so many, and such a faithful friend and prayer warrior. I was truly blessed to know you.
