Obituary

Fuquay-Varina – Tina Gail Simon Cardilicchia, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Transitions Hospice Care, 204 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 after a courageous battle with liver cancer. A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St Bernadette Catholic Church, 1005 Wilbon Road, Fuquay-Varina.

Tina was born on March 26, 1944 in Manhattan, NYC. She was the daughter of the late David Simon and Ann Lionetti.

She is lovingly remembered by her nephew, niece, great niece, great nephews, other family members, Maria, and other dear friends. She felt blessed by God and her greatest pride was being a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Tina had a kind spirit, loved people and was able to touch everyone’s hearts. Her legacy was her Christ-like kind spirit and strong love for her family and especially her late brother Donald Simon.

Tina was energetic, very friendly, and knew no stranger; she possessed a contagious sense of humor and had a gift for touching people’s lives. She was a beautiful person in every way. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love.

She loved to sing, play golf, go to the beach, bask in the warm sun, and was an avid collector of old movies.

Tina was the Founder-President of EZ Computer Training/South Florida Career Institute. She was smart, self-accomplished, and held many executive positions in the health care field. She was a member of many civic organizations. Tina was a Summa Cum Laude graduate and majored in Business Administration.
