Fuquay-Varina – Margaret Rose Bass Blosser

A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 401 N Ennis Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC. A Rosary service will be held at 4:30 p.m. prior to the visitation. A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St Bernadette Catholic Church, 1005 Wilbon Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Margaret was always known to keep a beautiful home, loved to cook and entertain, and enjoyed her work as a Bookkeeper. She always loved to enjoy laughter with friends and family and celebrate every holiday to the fullest extent! Everyone always loved her Italian meals and world class meatballs that she learned to create from her beloved mother, Rosalie Resolute Bass (Sept. 18, 1912 - March 17, 2004). Margaret's father, Edgar F. Bass also preceded her in death.

Richard A. Blosser, Sr., "Dick," was Margaret's husband for more than 53 years, and he also preceded her in death (July 11, 1934 - June 6, 2007).

Margaret leaves behind many loved ones. Her children, Dr. R. Allen Blosser of McLean, VA; Holly A. Markovich (Chris) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; David R. Blosser of Erwin, NC; Ritamarie Blosser of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Stephenie Fahy (Patrick), Natalie Blosser, Bella Blosser, Brooke Blosser, David R. Blosser, Philip Markovich, Chelsea Markovich and Ben Markovich; her great-grandchildren, Everett Fahy and Marvin Markovich Morris; her sister, Rita B. Myers (Tommy); sister in law, Susan Wight (Richard); her nephew, Tony Myers; niece, Kelly Guyot (Buzz); great nephew, Nicholas Bailey; and great niece, Rachel Bailey.

She was blessed with dear friends she met through her work at The Maret School in Washington, DC, St. Mary's School in Raleigh, and Konover Property Trust to name a few. Additionally, Margaret cherished her friends in Capital Towers in Raleigh, The Woods at Avent Ferry in Holly Springs, and Wood Spring Senior Apartments in Fuquay Varina.

Margaret's journey on this earth was full and complex. She touched many lives and was always most proud to be a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She longed to be in heaven with her Lord Jesus Christ and we are comforted in knowing that she is now home.
